When the 39th Heimtextil opens its doors on 14 January, visitors will primarily be interested in answering the question, what are the latest trends? And several thousand manufacturers from all over the world will be at the fair in Frankfurt to offer the most attractive answers.

Visitors will find the six most important trends for the home-textile season, 2009 / 2010, concentrated in the Heimtextil Trend Show in Forum.0 where Anne Marie Commandeur of stijlinstituut Amsterdam has staged them under the heading 'Expect the Unexpected'.

Anne Marie Commandeur has already demonstrated her ability to make trends more tangible with the development of the new Trend Magazine. Hence, we are looking forward very much to the visual impact of her Trend Show and the accompanying lectures, which will be given by renowned trend experts in Forum.0.

You can obtain first-class information and inspiration at the 'Let’s have a look' lecture area, which features Special Lectures to be given by AIT and Workshops by Material Connexion Cologne, at the 'rooms for free' platform for European textile students, at the awards ceremonies for young people and innovations, and at the 'Heimtextil goes City' campaign in Frankfurt – please see the following pages for further details.
