the 39th Heimtextil closed its doors, bringing to an end four extraordinary days, extraordinary because the home textile industry put on an outstanding show, in spite of the difficult economic climate.
Whether in presentation, product innovation or the host of discussions between exhibitors, trade visitors and industry experts, everyone involved was fully committed to being there.
Heimtextil Trend “Expect the Unexpected” was one of the highlights of the fair. In one of the most catchy displays, the potential of Textil-News 2009/2010 was presented as a consumer incentive. The lecture area, which was devoted to the top theme of sustainability, proved to be a magical attraction. In addition, the marketing initiative Contract Creations offered well-used indicators for the contract furnishing market.
What can we take away from this fair? Exhibitors mentioned three factors for their future success: new furnishing trends, accelerated buying cycles and sustainability as a long-term criterion in the decision to buy.
Heimtextil built these themes into its agenda for 2009 and will be consistently applying itself for the success of all industry players. But, to begin with, we would like to give you a short summary of Heimtextil 2009, including specific data and facts, industry comments and reports on audience attractions and awards ceremonies.
Enjoy the read!
